Ralph + Katie {engaged}

This e-session was my most anticipated ever. First, they were bringing their bulldog, which made it incredibly hard to wait for their session to take place. I was like a kid on Christmas. Second, from the first email Katie sent me, we clicked. It was as if she was one of my oldest friends – like I had known her forever. We have so much in common it’s unreal. Last but not least, Ralph. He is getting deployed immediately following their wedding in July. You can sense their anticipation – their need to spend every moment together and just, well, be. Be happy. Be free. Be in love. I have never seen so much love radiate between two people. Take a peek and enjoy.

Brandon + Ro {engaged}

There’s just something about them.

Something fun. Something goofy. Something genuine.

Meet Brandon and Ro. When he wasn’t being silly to make her laugh, they were looking at each other with the most intense love I’ve ever witnessed.

They definitely have that something. I’m honored to capture it.

I couldn’t get enough of their shoes. I had to force myself to stop taking pictures of them.

Dan + Stephanie {engaged}

“Not all who wander are lost.”

That was me this past week for Dan and Stephanie’s E-session. I may have had a vision, but I had no plan. Dan and Stephanie met me in downtown Denver and wandered around with me. I actually prefer to wander during sessions – it keeps my vision fresh and allows all of my shoots to have a different look. Plus it adds great time to chat.

Dan and Stephanie met at the tissue lab where Dan still works. Stephanie works at a doggie day care – my kinda girl. They’ve been together about 4 years and still can’t keep their hands off eachother. I actually had to break up a few makeout sessions. But I didn’t mind – it was amazing how comfortable they felt in front of my camera. Now I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding in June. I can already tell it’s going to be one of the best of 2010. Stay tuned.

Andray + Kellye {engaged}

Man, what a gorgeous fall weekend we had a few days ago! I’ve been itching to get out shooting with all of the beautiful colors on display, and got just the chance to do that. Meet Andray and Kellye. They met one night cruising Powers… Kellye did exactly what her mother would tell her not to do : she pulled over to talk to him {a complete stranger}. Sparks flew and it’s been love ever since. Sometimes it pays to not listen to your parents.

And Kellye was afraid she was going to look goofey in all of the photos. What a knockout.

Somehow we managed to get a little lost at Garden of the Gods. Good thing Andray has a built in self Tom-Tom.
