Damien + Tashnia
Ah, Hawaii. This is where Damien and Tashnia tied the knot. Most of their family and friends {including me!} were unable to travel to Hawaii, so they had their reception once they came back to Gunnison. It was a gorgeous day and beautiful reception – I had a blast shooting and being able to hang out with friends. The best of both worlds.

Joey + Erin {08.07.10}
Beautiful bride. Handsome groom. Amazing venue. What more could I ask for?
Joey and Erin were married on the Denver University campus at Evans Chapel, and held their reception in the Tuscan ballroom at DU. DU holds a special meaning for both of them – they went to school there, met while at school there, and Joey now works at DU. This was the perfect spot for them to become wife + man-friend-forever {Erin’s term}. This wedding held special meaning for me too. I’ve known Erin since we were 15 and went to the same private {yikes!} school in Alabama. I knew her before she could even drive… and now here she was this day, beginning a new life with Joey. I was honored to be a part of their celebration. Congrats, guys.

Immediate post-ceremony reaction. Priceless.

The photo booth at the reception was Ah. Maz. Ing.

Garo + Brenda {engaged}
I’m in love with this shoot. I love the light. I love the beautiful scenery. I love the way Garo and Brenda love each other. Phew… that’s a lot of love, peeps.
Garo, Brenda, and I met in Red Rock Canyon. I convinced them that it was better than Garden of the Gods {which is hard to do}. I’m so, so happy that they listened to their crazy photographer, because I could not love this shoot more.

Then we were on to Old Colorado City…
They were having dinner at Jake and Telly’s… oompa!
Brandon + Ro {married 06.26.10}
Brandon and Ro were married on a cool 100 degree afternoon in Pueblo. Despite the withering heat, we had a blast. By the time I left that night, I felt like part of their family.
This my favorite getting-ready photo of all time.

The getaway car. Coolest. Ever.

Sweet mural on the Pueblo Riverwalk.
Bam. Look at those eyes. Ro is gorgeous.

Cake topper

Old Town Carriage House on the Pueblo Riverwalk. It was beautiful. One of my favorite reception spots now.
Greg + Becky {rehearsal dinner}
This is the night I knew I was in love with Greg and Becky’s love. It’s quiet, it’s humble, it’s never~ending. I was in tears several times during their rehearsal dinner – I knew I was in trouble at their wedding the next day. Not only are Greg and Becky filled with love, but their families are exploding with it. I have never in my life felt so much love in one room. It was a truly amazing experience. I hope you can feel it through their photos as much as I could feel it that night. And just wait until you see their wedding photos.

The parents and bridal party gift~giving was so emotional.

Greg and Becky watching the slideshow that Greg’s father put together for them. It was amazing.
